Welcome to Get Sawa! These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Get Sawa mobile application ("App") operated by Get Sawa ("we," "us," or "our"). By using our App, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

By downloading, installing, or using Get Sawa, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use our App.

2. Description of Service

Get Sawa is a mobile application that helps groups decide where to eat by allowing users to swipe on restaurant options and find matches. The App uses your location to show nearby restaurants and facilitates group decision-making through a fun, interactive interface.

3. User Accounts

To use certain features of Get Sawa, you may need to create an account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information
  • Maintain the security of your account credentials
  • Promptly notify us of any unauthorized use of your account
  • Be responsible for all activities under your account

4. Subscription and Pricing

Freemium Model

Get Sawa offers both free and premium features:

  • Free tier: Basic features with limited functionality
  • Premium subscription: $2.99/month or $24.99/year

Payment

All payments are processed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. By purchasing a subscription, you agree to their respective terms and conditions.

Automatic Renewal

Premium subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel your subscription through your device's app store settings.

Refunds

Refund policies are governed by the Apple App Store and Google Play Store terms. We do not directly handle refunds. Please contact the respective app store for refund requests.

5. User Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Use the App for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
  • Violate any laws in your jurisdiction
  • Transmit any harmful code or malware
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
  • Harass, abuse, or harm other users
  • Create multiple accounts for fraudulent purposes

6. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of Get Sawa, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, and software, are the exclusive property of Get Sawa and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

7. Third-Party Services

Get Sawa may display information from third-party services (such as restaurant data). We are not responsible for the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of such third-party information.

8. SMS Communications

By providing your phone number to Get Sawa, you consent to receive SMS messages for:

  • App download links
  • Service updates and notifications
  • Account-related information

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, GET SAWA SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Get Sawa and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses arising out of your use of the App or violation of these Terms.

13. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the App immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including breach of these Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

15. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of any material changes by posting the new Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.
